“During a biodiversity assessment conducted in our vineyard, an alert ornithologist crossed paths with charming great tits.

Our plateau of pebbles, being colonized by grape worms (vine pests), provides these tits with plenty to satisfy their voracious appetite (they are insectivorous in spring and summer)!

This makes them a valuable ally for us, to whom we offer lodging (in addition to food): we install birdhouses so they stay with us for a long time.

DDuring a biodiversity diagnosis carried out on our vineyard, a vigilant naturalist witnessed the rarely observable sunbathing of the ocellated lizard, a protected species in our countryside.

Indeed, our plateau of rolled pebbles offers it a quite comfortable habitat, as long as it finds piles that provide shelter.

No matter, we have set up lodgings for it, made with heaps of pebbles and a shelter underneath, so that it stays with us for a long time.

We hope that each year, we observe more than the previous one!

This rare presence is certainly worth a cuvée, without a doubt.

During a biodiversity assessment conducted in our vineyard, an observant ornithologist noticed bats hunting at dusk.

Our pebble plateau, being colonized by vine-destroying moths (they lay their eggs on the berries which are then bored into by caterpillars), provides these bats with plenty to satisfy their nocturnal appetites, saving us from considerable damage (they eat a third of their weight in insects each night)!

These are precious allies for us, to whom we offer lodging (in addition to food): we install bat boxes so they can settle permanently in our vineyard.
