Heritage and Growth: The Evolution of the Château Font Barrièle Estate Since 1857
In 1857, Auguste Gourjon planted the first grape-plants of the domain, in Joncquieres Saint Vincent. Since, Font Barrièle’s vineyard has grown in the hands of the Gourjon family though a fusional relationship with the soil that feeds them. Leon, Robert and now Christian passed on the baton of this much cared for and respected land, preserving it for the future generations.

Towards a Sustainable Era: Caroline's commitment to Biodynamic and Organic Farming at Domaine Font Barrièle
After 15 years as an oenology consultant for organic and biodynamic winemakers, Caroline joined Christian working on the domain in 2015. As an agronomist engineer and thanks to her awareness as far as agricultural organic practices are concerned, she listens to the rhythms of nature. The result: a domain which is now fully organic and biodynamic.
